New year, new(ish) me.

Happy new year to all my friends, family and followers!

My life has been so busy the past 4 months that I have not even had a moment to sit down to write. Don’t get me wrong, I love staying busy and being on the go. I have so many commitments between the schools, moms club, work, family, activities, clubs and just everyday life. Some nights I get home m, sit down and can’t even believe everything I got done in that day.

I can’t say I’m happy being THIS busy.

Along with the business also came some more weight gain. Since my surgery in April, (what!? Yes you can read about it in my past posts!) I have gained almost 30 pounds. 😖😖😖 I don’t even feel like myself anymore.

Lately ive read several articles and quotes ( I didn’t seek out, they happened to find me) regarding loving yourself first. To be the best person for your family you have to be the best person for yourself first. It hit home and I took it as a sign.

New year- new (ish) me. This year I really hope to make healthy decisions for ME. Healthy stress levels, healthy bedtimes, healthy food choices.. I hope to not overburden myself with commitments and I hope that making myself go to bed earlier then 2am nightly will help me all around. (I’ve never needed much sleep, but I’m thinking a couple hours a night can’t be good when I’m on the move all day.)

There you have it, my generic plan for a happier, healthier new year. Although blogging won’t be on the top of my todo list, I will try to make more time for it, since I do love writing to you all!
